At the Global Cup Goa, our mission is to promote the universal values of sportsmanship, teamwork and excellence. We provide a platform where athlete from across the country come together to showcase their talent, inspire fans and foster national understanding and friendship through sports.
What We Do
Finance and Administration
Global Cup Goa was first held in 2013. The tournament was started by the football clubs of Global School of Sports. We have been committed to organizing football and handball tournaments that captivate audiences, unite communities, and celebrate the spirit of sports. Our events bring together top teams and players from diverse backgrounds, creating an electrifying atmosphere of competition and excitement.
The organization
Founders
The organization is consisting of 5 visionary individuals who conceived the idea of the Global Cup Goa tournament and laid the foundation for its establishment. They provide strategic direction,leadership, and guidance to the organization. They are the key decision-makers and senior management, responsible for overseeing the overall planning
Executive Committee
This committee sets goals, allocates resources, coordination, smooth execution of the tournament and ensures adherence to the organization's mission and values.
Departments
Event Management
Responsible for the logistical planning and execution of the tournament, including venue selection, scheduling, transportation, and facilities management
Marketing and Communications
Handles promotional activities, branding, media relations, and digital marketing efforts to raise awareness and drive engagement for the tournament
Participant Services
Manages participant registrations, accommodations, travel arrangements, and other services to ensure a seamless experience for teams, athletes, and officials
Community Engagement
Develops and implements initiatives aimed at engaging with the local community, promoting inclusivity, and making a positive social impact through sports.
Finance and Administration
Manages financial operations, budgeting, accounting, and administrative functions to ensure fiscal responsibility and organizational efficiency
Sponsorship and Partnerships
Cultivates relationships with sponsors, partners, and stakeholders to secure financial support, in-kind donations, and mutually beneficial partnerships for the tournament.
Volunteer Coordination
Recruits, trains, and coordinates volunteers to assist with various aspects of the tournament, including event operations, hospitality, and spectator services.
Volunteers
We have around 150 enthusiastic individuals who generously volunteer and they expertise to support the organization and ensure the smooth running of the tournament. Volunteers play a vital role in various capacities, contributing to the success of the event and enhancing the experience for participants and spectators.
Participants and Spectators
The heart and soul of the Global Cup Goa tournament, including athletes, teams, coaches, officials, and fans who actively participate in or attend the event, contributing to its success and vibrancy through their passion, energy, and enthusiasm for sports. Through the years, over 20,000 players from a total of 22 States have participated in the tournament.
More Than a Tournament
Global School of Sports has been participating in various Football, Handball , basketball, swimming and Taekwondo tournaments in Europe and Asian countries since last 14 years. Countries likes Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Dubai, Singapore, Qatar, Thailand, Malaysia, Eygpt and many more.
Field of Dreams
Global Cup is largest and youth football tournament. Each year, around 1600 Players from 16 States take part and they play 250 games on 15 different pitches.

Our organization consists of 5 full-time employed staff and during the tournament more than 150 people work.

Global School of Sports has been participating in various Football Tournaments in Europe and asian countries since last 13 years. Country likes Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Spain, Portugal, France, Dubai, Singapore, Qatar, Thailand, Eygpt and many more.
